SBS teaches through inquiry and in every classroom inquiry is visible! Grade 5’s are making scribble machines, the Grade 6’s are completing original research for their exhibition project and the Grade 4’s are researching into the body systems. - Wear your sweater and conserve energy
SBS turned down the heat to conserve energy and staff and students wore sweaters to keep warm. As part of an Ecoschool initiative, the Green team raised awareness and donated funds to the World Wildlife Fund.
The Small School Building Big Futures
We acknowledge the land that Sunnybrook is on is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We are extremely grateful to support & teach future generations on this land.
