Remembrance Day 2023

It was wonderful to have veteran Major Adam Saunders visit Sunnybrook this week to present the importance of Remembrance Day. He discussed his role as a peacekeeper in the Bosnian war and it was interesting hearing about his medals and also about his new red tie that honours the new King Charles.

Carbon Free School Since 2021

Cross Country Meet at Withrow Park

The Cross Country Team ran with heart, grit and determination in the hot sun today!! Eight of our students placed in the top ten and we are so proud of all of our runners. It was wonderful how all the students cheered each other on and had such team spirit. Way to go!!

Orange Shirt Day at SBS

Today many activities and discussions happened in each classroom about Reconciliation. It was wonderful to see so many students and staff wearing orange shirts and being allies. It is important to continue these conversations at home.
