The SPA hosted CAPES FOR KIDS today where students showed their support for funding important programs and services for kids and teens with disabilities. All proceeds will be donated to Holland Bloorview Hospital. Thank you to the SPA for organizing the events and thank you to the community for their support .

BBrrrrrrr it’s cold in here! Sunnybrook is bundling up and wearing sweaters today as we have turned down the heat to save energy. We are raising money for the world wildlife fund. Thank you to our green team for the initiative.
Ski Day 2025
The Grade 2-6 students took to the slopes and had a great day! We lucked out with the weather- it was perfect! The students started with lessons followed by skiing in groups with parent volunteers. It was a spectacular day!

“Winter Solstice” Concert
The SBS students did a fantastic job preforming at the Winter Solstice Concert. The concert portrayed unity, community and inclusion and it was a wonderful festive event. The students had fun singing, dancing, drumming and presenting. Congratulations to the grade 6 students as well who played so magnificently in the band.
CTV visits SBS to launch Toy Mountain
City TV visited Sunnybrook to launch the Toy Mountain Campaign. Nathan and Evan started this initiative at SBS 4 years ago and the entire community participates. Our Grade 5 and 6 students attend Kandalore Camp for three days and two nights. They participated in rock climbing, archery, high ropes, low ropes, fire building and orientation.
