Sunnybrook is part of the Small School Athletic Federation and we compete against other small schools. 55% of our grade school population is on the Cross Country team. Truth and Reconciliation Day 2024
National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a day for students to reflect and be educated on the relationships between indigenous and non-indigenous people. Students wear orange shirts today to promote the truth that every child matters.
Terry Fox Run 2024
What a success! It was amazing to see so many parents come to help out at our event and volunteer. We appreciate their enthusiasm and dedication. This year, the students really pushed themselves and showed resilience – the younger students ran double the expected amount – well done SBS!
Backpack Drive 2024
A GR 6 student initiated an action to donate old, gently used backpacks to Thorncliffe Park Public School. This will help students who don’t have a backpack or school supplies have a better start to their year. Thank you to the community for donating 67 BACKPACKS for the drive – what a great action.
Kindie Play Day 2024
Our Grade 6 students planned a Play Day for our Kindergarten students. As Grade 6 students they show their leadership skills and run stations and activities for the youngest students. They did an incredible job and the students loved the afternoon.
