Field trips are valuable to make connections to the learning in the classroom. Each class will participate in 5 to 6 field trips over the year. This week the Grade 3 class visited Crawford Lake to learn about Canada’s Indigenous People. Grade Two participated in a structures workshop at Chamelea Science Center. Grade Six visited Queens Park for their Government unit and saw democracy in action. These experiences bring culture to life and are important at SBS!
