Blanket Exercise

The Grade 6 students participated in an Indigenous Blanket Experience. The workshop allows the students to explore and understand the relationship between indigenous and non-indigenous people in Canada. Blankets are arranged on the floor representing land and participants step into the role of First Nations and experience treaty making, colonization and resistance.

Fun Friday

The SPA hosted Fun Friday and pizza day! The students showed their support by donating money to their studio choice of charity.
